Maintenance tags edit

Would you be so kind to tag specific sections or sentences that are dubious in some way? before removing the tag I read the entire article and made sure that I didn’t see anything suspicious. Of course you might know more about the topic than I do and you might find some things that warrant tagging. Jehochman Talk

Aodhdubh edit

Hey, just noticed your posts on their talk page. Given their history, both recent and further back, I'm wondering if perhaps it would be more effective to post something at MilHist (if not ANI). jmho Cheers - wolf 00:17, 22 October 2023 (UTC)Reply I have placed notifications to the discussion I started on HMS Exeter's talk page at WP:MilHist and WP:Ships, and the discussion seems to have got a reasonable level of response, as did the previous question I raised there, just not from Aodhdubh. I'll leave it for someone else to raise the issue at ANI if they feel it is necessary.Nigel Ish (talk) 09:48, 22 October 2023 (UTC)Reply Thanks for the reverts. I expect that an admin will start blocking him shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:47, 22 October 2023 (UTC)Reply I would probably endorse admin action. Have spent considerable time cleaning up after his edits. Buckshot06 (talk) 20:35, 24 October 2023 (UTC)ReplyNotice of Dispute resolution noticeboard discussion edit

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply What are these airplanes? edit

Hello @Nigel Ish, you said that the airplanes in this photo are not A1N. However the source says they are A1N carrier fighters. So what type of aircraft are these? -Artanisen (talk) 11:32, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

They clearly aren't A1Ns (at least the ones in the foreground) as can be seen by comparing the photograph in the infobox to the photo with Akagi - the ones in the photo you added are much longer, have a liquid cooled engine rather than a radial and appear to be a two -seater.Nigel Ish (talk) 11:52, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Possibly a Mitsubishi B1M of some sort - which at least has the 3-bay wing of the mystery aircraft, although the tail looks different than the B1Ms I've seen photos of - note that the photo in question appears to be very heavily retouched.Nigel Ish (talk) 12:08, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply Yeah it looks similar to a Mitsubishi B1M torpedo bomber. CS1 error on No. 11 Squadron RAF edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page No. 11 Squadron RAF, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 15:19, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply Lost in .... edit

I have made several attempts to make "Contributions" to Wikipedia only to have them "reverted" by you. If there is a simple way to get my latest contribution recast, I would like to do that. I believe that this contribution is a significant addition to the page and Wikipedia. I offer it if it fits yours and Wikipedia's standards. Please advise me of your requirements.

@Nigel Ish you created this page and I was wondering if you have contacts, that could possibly have access to Building plans of this plane. I need them to figure out a way of fitting a different engine. Thanks and cheers 24.206.107.71 (talk) 10:33, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply No - I don't gave any special contacts or connection with the design. Maybe try the https://www.lightaircraftassociation.co.uk/ - someone there might know?Nigel Ish (talk) 17:16, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply Thank you, i will try that. 24.206.107.70 (talk) 11:37, 22 February 2024 (UTC)ReplyKa-15 revert due to Aviastar being used edit

Hi Nigel Ish, I was wonder if I could keep my other sources and remove Aviastar, since I believe the rest of the Kamov Ka-15 article was fine. Forevernewyes (talk) 18:52, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Aviastar was the only source you used.Nigel Ish (talk) 18:53, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
No let me check I used other sources. Im sorry Im new to wikipedia Forevernewyes (talk) 18:55, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah I must've removed my other sources, it was just aviastar, sorry for the inconvenience. Forevernewyes (talk) 18:57, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Could you please add one of those templates that state that a article lacks citations? I dont know how to use those. Thank you, don't mean to bug you. Forevernewyes (talk) 19:00, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for adding what I wanted to be in the article but with reliable sources, I was upset the Ka-15 didn't have much of a Wikipedia article, close to a stub almost. Forevernewyes (talk) 21:04, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
