Visa requirements for Malagasy citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of the Madagascar.
As of 2024, Malagasy citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 60 countries and territories, ranking the Malagasy passport 83rd in the world according to the Henley Passport Index.[1]
Permanent residents and holders of multiple entry visa of the United States may obtain a visa on arrival for a fee of 50 USD. Passengers with a valid visa issued by a Schengen Member State are visa exempt for a maximum stay of 90 days.
Holders of a multiple-entry Schengen Area Visa, can enter and stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina up to 15 days upon every entry per period of 180 days, if visa previously used in one of the Schengen Area.
Resident permit holders of the European Union may enter for 30 days; as well as multiple-entry visa holders of Canada and the U.S. Green Cards or U.S. visas must be valid for more than six months on arrival except for holders of B or D visas. Not applicable to holders of C1 visas.
e-Visa holders must arrive via 26 designated airports[Note 1] or 3 designated seaports.[Note 2][101]
An Indian e-Tourist Visa may only be obtained twice within 1 calendar year.[citation needed]
Foreigners of Pakistani origin or who hold a Pakistani Passport are not eligible for an e-Visa. Foreigners who are not Pakistani nationals, but whose parents or grandparents (either paternal or maternal) were born in, or were permanent residents in Pakistan, are also not eligible for an e-Visa.[102]
Non-visa-exempt nationals who are in transit through South Korea are visa-exempt for 30 days, provided holding a physical visa or a residence permit issued by the following countries and are arriving at South Korea from one of these countries and continuing to a third country, or arriving from a third country and continuing to one of these countries: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United States.
Holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa or Resident Return Visa may be granted a New Zealand Resident Visa on arrival permitting indefinite stay (pursuant to the Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement), subject to meeting character requirements and obtaining an Electronic Travel Authority prior to departure.[164]
Holders of a valid Type "C" multiple entry visa or Permanent Residency for the Schengen area may enter North Macedonia for up to 15 days visa free. A temporary residence permit (with expiration date) is not accepted.
Holders of a valid UK, Canada or U.S. visa may enter North Macedonia for up to 15 days visa free.
Holders of UN travel documents do not require a visa.
As of November 2014 valid visa holders and residents of the European Union and Schengen Area member states and the United States can enter Serbia without a visa for a maximum stay of 90 days within 180 days, provided the visa remains valid for the entire length of stay.
Do not need a visa a holder of a valid biometric residence permit issued by one of the Schengen member states or a valid multi-entry Schengen Visa, a holder of a valid Laissez-Passer issued by United Nations Organizations, NATO, OSCE, Council of Europe or European Union a holder of a valid travel documents issued by EU Member and Schengen States, United States of America, Canada, Australia and Japan based on the 1951 Convention on Refugee Status or the 1954 Convention on the Status of Stateless Persons, as well as holders of valid travel documents for foreigners (max. 15 days stay)[252]
The visa policy is the same as for Cyprus, which follows the visa policy of the Schengen Area. However, stays longer than 28 days per 12-month period require a permit. The territory has open borders with Cyprus, but maintains border checks with Northern Cyprus.
Permanent residents of the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom do not require a visa. They must arrive directly from their countries of permanent residence, or, for permanent residents of Canada and the UK, on an immediate connecting flight from their countries of permanent residence. Visa holders of these three countries may also visit BVI for up to six months providing they have a used, multiple-entry visa valid for at least six months.
Follows mainly the visa policy of the United Kingdom.
Holders of the following: a valid UK multiple entry visa issued for 6 months or more or a biometric residence permit (BRP), regardless of category; Indefinite leave to remain in the UK; Certificate of Entitlement to the Right of Abode in the UK; EU family residence permit/card; or Equivalent of indefinite leave to remain in any Schengen member state.
