The National Library of Australia has a new catalogue search string; https://catalogue.nla.gov.au/catalog?search_field=isbn&q=MAGICNUMBER should work, the old one appears not to. 192.102.239.195 (talk) 01:55, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
I would like the Wikipedia ISBN lookup to include a link to BookFinder.com ISBN search. I use it all the time to locate books I want to buy. There are two different links that I have found to do an ISBN lookup on bookfinder.com.
Link 1: https://www.bookfinder.com/search/?isbn=9780593492307&st=xl&ac=qr
Link 2: https://www.bookfinder.com/isbn/9780241547472/
I like output of "Link 1" the best as it usually gives a blurb about the book and seems to give more information such as clickable links to author name etc. -- Ubh [talk... contribs...] 14:23, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
The link under "Online Text" for Amazon takes me to a page that just says "SORRY something went wrong on our end" no matter which ISBN I'm looking for. Other language Amazons have similar error messages. The other two links seem to work fine when the book is found in their respective databases, but Amazon doesn't return a valid response for anything I tried. Perhaps they changed the URL format?
