Alexandrovsky District (Russian: Алекса́ндровский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,100 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Alexandrovka.[2] Population: 15,702 (2010 Census);[4] 19,962 (2002 Census);[8] 22,329 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Alexandrovka accounts for 25.4% of the total district's population.[4]
