Education and career edit

Baker holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Winston-Salem State University[2] and a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership and administration from Ohio State University.[2][3] She served as the principal of Kimberley Park Elementary School in Winston-Salem, N.C., part of Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools, from 2008 to 2019.[3]
