The spreading and open shrub typically grows to a height of 0.3 to 1.25 metres (1.0 to 4.1 ft). It blooms between July and November producing blue-white flowers.

It is found on gentle slopes, plains and swampy areas in the South West region of Western Australia where it grows in sandy or clay soils.[1]
