Darovskoy District (Russian: Даровской райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,757 square kilometers (1,451 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Darovskoy.[1] Population: 11,829 (2010 Census);[3] 14,990 (2002 Census);[8] 18,834 (1989 Census).[9] The population of the administrative center accounts for 60.2% of the district's total population.[3]
