Dombarovsky District (Russian: Домбаровский райо́н; Kazakh: Дамбар ауданы, Dambar aýdany) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,600 square kilometers (1,400 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Dombarovsky.[2] Population: 15,994 (2010 Census);[4] 19,188 (2002 Census);[8] 20,016 (1989 Census).[9] The population of the administrative center accounts for 53.9% of the total district's population.[4]
