Ertilsky District (Russian: Эрти́льский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,457.81 square kilometers (562.86 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Ertil.[1] Population: 20,865 (2021 Census);[8] 25,728 (2010 Russian census);[3] 31,499 (2002 Census);[9] 36,054 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Ertil accounts for 48.0% of the district's total population.[8]
