Description

Artist's impression of the Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO, top left) and the entry, descent and landing demonstrator module, Schiaparelli (middle), and the ExoMars rover (bottom right).

Schiaparelli is shown in post-separation configuration, encased in its protective heatshields.

None of the components is to scale and in reality the orbiter will operate from around 400 km above Mars.
