John Bright (costume designer)

Summary

John Bright (born 7 March 1940) is a British costume designer. He is best known for creating the costumes for Merchant Ivory Productions with fellow collaborator Jenny Beavan. Bright has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design six times with Beavan, winning for their work on James Ivory's romance period drama film A Room with a View (1985).
