Klyavlinsky District (Russian: Кля́влинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Samara Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,160 square kilometers (450 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a railway station) of Klyavlino.[2] Population: 15,988 (2010 Census);[4] 16,437 (2002 Census);[9] 30,179 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of the administrative center accounts for 43.6% of the district's total population.[4]
