Rod Machado (b. 1953) is a pilot, flight instructor, and author. He is ATP rated and a member of the Aviation Speakers Bureau. His books include Rod Machado's Private Pilot Handbook (ISBN 978-0963122995) (2nd edition released 2008), Rod Machado's Instrument Pilot's Survival Manual (ISBN 978-0971201507) (2003), and various others. His private pilot handbook is available on audiobook and MP3 as well as several others on CD and video which were never books.
