Saravan County (Persian: شهرستان سراوان) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Saravan.[3]

At the 2006 census, the county's population was 239,950 in 47,753 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 175,728 people in 39,415 households,[5] by which time Hiduj District and Sib and Suran District had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sib and Suran County, and Zaboli District in the establishment of Mehrestan County.[6] At the 2016 census the county's population was 191,661, in 50,524 households.[2]
The population history and structural changes of Saravan County's administrative divisions over three consecutive censuses are shown in the following table. The latest census shows three districts, eight rural districts, and five cities.[2]
In August 2017, Kuhak-e Esfandak Rural District was separated from Bam Pasht District in the establishment of Mehregan District.[7] In November 2021, the village of Esfandak was elevated to the status of a city.[8]
In January 2019, Nahuk Rural District was separated from Jaleq District to join the Central District. The remainder of the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Golshan County.[9]
