The album features music by Barry De Vorzon, Joe Walsh, Arnold McCuller and others. Many of the tracks are also included in the 2005 video game The Warriors.
On the UK version "The Mersh brothers" band features "Night Run" but unfortunately was not included on future DVD releases. The movie company didn't want to renew the license.
