The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 24.0 °C (75.2 °F), and lowest in January, at around 6.1 °C (43.0 °F). The highest temperature ever recorded in Varages was 44.5 °C (112.1 °F) on 28 June 2019; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −12.5 °C (9.5 °F) on 2 March 2005.
