It is a good idea at this time to have your child learn the parts of the gun; have them tell you how each part works. Remember for younger children to keep it simple; do not overwhelm them with too many technical terms. Having them hold and pass the airsoft gun properly and to learn the operation and different parts of the airsoft gun will prepare them for the future when and if they move on to a real firearm.
