Calangute – Where the Partying Never Stops!

North Goa is a party-hopper’s delight! Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, Candolim beach… all of these places are a must-visit to experience the perfect night-life and mind-blowing parties. Oh wait! Did we miss out on Calangute? Now that would have been a real sin.

Located between Baga and Candolim, Calangute beach, Goa is a heaven where the party never stops. It is probably the best beach in Goa for nightlife. With the Baga beach also nearby, it is a very common sight of people beach-hopping to enjoy the parties at both the beaches.

However, with all the partying and nightlife, it doesn’t mean that Calangute is not a great place for family vacations. The beach itself is filled with natural beauty and the activities here make it a fun and enjoyable trip, be it with anyone. The famous Calangute Market Square is an amazing place for shopping small items, beachwear, souvenirs, local handicrafts and decorative items. The flea markets in Goa are an amazing experience and the perfect place to buy something as a remembrance of your vacation in Goa.

The place is also a foodie’s paradise, with small shacks, as well as fancy restaurants around every corner. So if you want to indulge on the local Goan cuisine or want to stick to your favorite pasta or burger, you always have your choices open.

The last must-do thing in Goa is the water sports there. And Calangute beach gives you all the options to get your adrenaline pumping.  From parasailing to scuba diving, to banana boat rides and motor boat rides, you can check out for yourself what you love doing. But no matter what, a friendly suggestion will be to try everything at least once and then choose your pick.

Though the beach fun is seen from October to May, the best time to visit Goa is usually November and December. It will be crowded surely, but the cool winter breeze during the day time and the vibrant party atmosphere at night will definitely make you forget everyone around you and enjoy the scenes. However, the cherry on the cake will definitely be if you can enjoy Christmas and New-Year at the beach with your friends and family… don’t you think?

If you’re planning your next Goa trip soon, we, at, can help you to create a great plan, including stays and travel! Interested in finding out.
