7-Eleven Day!

Hola peeps! I know I did not get a post out for you yesterday, I had a full and busy day yesterday. Let me tell you all about it, because it was actually a pretty good day. It started off by getting home late Tuesday night, arguably it was early Wednesday morning. I am pretty sure I finally crawled into bed, around 3:00 a.m. I set my alarms for 7:45 a.m so that I would have enough time to finish the homework that I still had, as well as give myself enough time to get ready to go to school. Let me just be honest with you, I am NOT a morning person, NOT at all!! So 7:45 a.m is early for me, especially when I do not get home and go to bed until 3:00 a.m. I am a night owl, I would prefer to sleep till 9:00 a.m, and stay up until the late hours of the night. Just so you all know, on Wednesdays, I have two summer classes that are on campus. My first class is in the morning, two hours long, from 10 a.m to 12 p.m, and then the second class in the mid to late afternoon, for about two hours as well, from 2:45 p.m to 4:55 p.m.

My morning class is a business communications class, it covers 16 weeks worth of material and content, crammed into four weeks because it is a summer session class. My afternoon class is an upper-division, managerial statistics class that is 10 weeks long. Guys, I strongly, STRONGLY dislike math!! This class is a struggle for me!! No joke, full transparency, I just got my midterm term grade back yesterday in class, and guys, I got a 40.99% on my midterm. Thank goodness my professor curved the grades, even though I got a 40.99% I still got a C on the exam. I know, for some people, a C is not a good enough grade. For me, in math, especially in statistics, I'll take a C on my midterm. Hey, that's average and passing, at least I know enough from the class to be average. There is a saying that "C's get degree's", meaning as long as you pass all your classes with a C grade average, you can get your college degree. While I do not believe that a C average is a good thing, I believe an occasional C in a class or two that may not be an individual's strong point, is okay. Anyways school was good today, I have about three weeks left before finals, I'm almost done, so ready to be out of classes honestly.

I also ran errands between classes yesterday, I had about two and a half hours to kill so I needed to do something. I went to target and to Dollartree, I picked up miscellaneous things that I needed for my house and for myself. After running errands, I went back to school to attend my afternoon class. Once school got out, around 5:00 p.m and my man got off work, I drove to his house to spend a few hours with him. We are super low-key together sometimes and honestly, it is really nice. Yesterday, we went and got pizza from Costco, went back to his house, hung out talking with his parents, and playing with his dog. I spent about three and half hours with him before I had to leave his house around 8:45 p.m. I needed to get back to my house, in order to hang out with my roommate who I haven't spent time with much this past week. My roommate and I try to have weekly bonding and hangouts because we are actually good friends. She sucked me back into watching the Bachelorette this season, so once a week we usually watch the new episode together and drink a bottle of wine. For those of you watching this season, WHY IS LUKE P. STILL AROUND!?! That is a completely different post and rant for another day though, but for real why is he still on the show, I am not a fan of him.

Rant over, that is how my day went yesterday. I got home early in the morning, woke up early to finish homework and get ready for school. Attended my morning class, ran errands, when to my afternoon class, saw my man, watched the bachelorette, drank some wine and relaxed at home. Now you know why I was unable to post yesterday, I told you I had a busy day haha. Luckily today is a little bit calmer, I still have school this morning (which I am in right now) and then I have work this afternoon and will be attending my man's soccer game tonight. Hopefully, you all have had a great week so far and have a fantastic day today. By the way, happy 7-eleven day, where I live, its 95 degrees today so a Slurpee will be an amazing way to cool off. Catch you on the flip side, Ciao!!
