Confirm to install the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft Download Center

If you have installed the the latest version of IE, or you continue receiving the error after following the steps in this article, you need to consult an IT professional or Microsoft.

Solution 1: Perform a Clean Install

Clean install QuickBooks Desktop

Solution 2: Edit Internet Explorer options:

• Open Internet Explorer
• Click the gear icon and select Internet Options.
• Now Click on Security tab and select Trusted sites.
• Click on the Site and add the following websites.
  1. if anyone using a US version of QuickBooks:
     1. *.quickbooks.com
     2. *.intuit.com
  2. if you are using a Canadian version of QuickBooks:
     1. *.quickbooks.ca
     2. *.intuit.ca
  3. Click on Close
  4. Click on Apply and OK

Solution 3: Update Microsoft Security Certificate

Expired Windows Security Certificate may cause this issue.. To fix this, run Windows Update or download an updated certificate from Microsoft.
