Happpyyy Mondayy! Some of you may be total Monday people and others may not be. Some of you may have not have a preference one way or another, surprisingly for me, I felt fine and almost excited to get back home and back to work after my week-long vacation. Being on vacation was fun and definitely a good break from the rut of school and work the past two and half months, but as fall classes start in just a few days, I'm eager to get back to a routine so that way, when school begins I'm already in the swing of things.
I have had a good weekend back in my hometown, sitting out by the pool, reading my book for class, drinking a little, sleeping in, seeing family and just taking it easy. I went bike riding one day with my brother, we went out for a 12-mile ride, I also walked to the local mall and back which was a three-mile loop. While I walked, I listened to an audiobook that I have to read for class, I was given a week to read through a 500-page book. I have not yet gone through all the media footage from my trip, but am excited to review it all and have my man look at it all too cause video footage is more of his specialty.
Looking forward to tonight too, all my roommates have now moved in and were going out as a group for $2 margarita night at this local place by our house. Roommate bonding and afterward, they will be headed back to the house to watch bachelor in paradise, and I probably will head out with my man to see the movie Good Boys which looks hilarious. I really missed him while I was traveling, really wishing he was with me experiencing those places with me for many reasons. First, because my family is important to me and he is important to me so I want to intertwine the two in order to have the best of all worlds. Secondly, because he's never been to Idaho or my hometown and I'm proud of those places and want to show them off to him. Lastly, I'm proud and happy to be with him and call him mine, so I want to show him off as mine and show him off to my family. I already talked about him and us nonstop so bringing him around would be the natural next step. I told all my parents that there was a man, I told my sister-in-law and my grandma who I've gotten closer too since graduating high about him and us as well. Not much else to report right now, just currently sitting at work working on a few projects but needed a writing break so here I am. Time to get back to work assignments though, untill next time.
