Developing a discussion

One of the most important aspects of your thesis will be your ability to justify your reasons

For studying this particular subject;
for choosing this method of studying it;
to think that this method of analysis is appropriate; and
and to think that your interpretation and conclusions are reasonable.
You will refer to the work of others to justify your choice. This may include a detailed evaluation of the work of recognized leaders in the field. While it is important that you show respect when discussing other people's ideas and research, you should challenge directly and even openly disagree with them.

In his book on writing in the arts and social sciences, time4writing
offered a number of different and academically acceptable ways of actively challenging published work.

Agree with someone else's point of view, allow or affirm a position, or defend your own position.
Offer a new perspective.
Acknowledge that the point of view has merit, but some important aspects of it need to be extended.
Re-formulate someone's point of view or description of it, so that the new version acts as a better explanation.
Reject another person's position or work on the grounds that it is inadequate, irrelevant, disjointed, or using other relevant criteria.
Reject, refute, or rebut another person's argument based on a number of good reasons.
Look for points of convergence between two situations that may seem different from each other, supporting some principle of "superior" or "dense."
Develop an existing perspective, perhaps using it on larger or more complex data sets, or applying theory to a new context.

It is important that you argue in a decisive way. But it is unlikely that you will have the opportunity in your dissertation to settle the old academic argument quite decisively. You should be honest about any gaps in your research, and make sure that you do not exaggerate your conclusions. Try to be modest but realistic in establishing your own research in a broader context.

Improving structure and content
Once you have completed your thesis, it will be easier for you to identify places where you can improve it. To make the essay easier to read, writingapaper can set clear marks at the beginning of each chapter. Write links between sections to show haow one section belongs to another. Another method that improves the style of someone writing an academic document is to make sure that you can justify your reasons for including both points.

You can read your draft from an expert's point of view. This might mean creating a list of questions for you to answer and then reading through the essay and writing comments, suggestions, critiques, and ideas in the margins of the pages . If you have a marking guide, use the guide to help you assess whether you can improve any aspect of your essay.

As you do these things, think about whether you need to increase or decrease the number of words in your essay in order to achieve your goal. When reading, you can draw a line through any material that may be unnecessary. Highlight points that you could develop. After all of these steps will give you a solid foundation on which to draft an improved version of your essay.
