Bolsherechensky District (Russian: Большере́ченский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,300 square kilometers (1,700 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Bolsherechye.[1] Population: 28,486 (2010 Census);[3] 34,037 (2002 Census);[8] 36,726 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Bolsherechye accounts for 39.6% of the district's total population.[3]
