Maryanovsky District (Russian: Марья́новский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,700 square kilometers (660 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Maryanovka.[1] Population: 27,595 (2010 Census);[3] 27,802 (2002 Census);[8] 30,173 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Maryanovka accounts for 31.3% of the district's total population.[3]
