Suzdalsky District (Russian: Су́здальский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[7] district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,479 square kilometers (571 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Suzdal.[2] Population: 46,084 (2021 Census);[9] 44,114 (2010 Russian census);[4] 39,736 (2002 Census);[10] 39,670 (1989 Soviet census).[11] The population of Suzdal accounts for 20.2% of the district's total population.[9]
