Talovsky District (Russian: Та́ловский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeastern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,910 square kilometers (740 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Talovaya.[1] Population: 35,173 (2021 Census);[8] 42,603 (2010 Russian census);[3] 47,221 (2002 Census);[9] 51,278 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Talovaya accounts for 31.7% of the district's total population.[8]
