Totsky District (Russian: То́цкий райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,100 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Totskoye.[2] Population: 32,866 (2010 Census);[4] 41,332 (2002 Census);[8] 32,174 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Totskoye accounts for 21.0% of the district's total population.[4]
