I recently came across this article on the best bands of all time and I just thought I'll share a little snippet scoop of it.
Radiohead
Radiohead are the British godfathers of rock. This band was found in 1985 without changing its members. Thought it changed it style much time, this band is considered to be a representative of alternative rock. This rock phenomenon greatly influenced rock culture, in general, all over the world. This was a first band that managed to gain popularity in the USA market.
Placebo
Placebo is an alternative rock band originated from London, the Great Britain. It was found in 1994 by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. They released seven albums and gain great popularity all over the world. They represent alternative rock or indie rock (the term more widely used in the GB).
Oasis
Oasis is also a much propagated British rock band playing alternative rock, Rock&roll, British pop, and neo-psychedelia. It was founded by two brothers named as Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher. They were on the top of charts in more than twelve countries and this album was called the most quickly selling one of all times.
