Whether you look at Kollywood or Bollywood movies news in Tamil, 2021 seems to be a promising year for movie
enthusiasts with a host of new movies scheduled for release. Most of these
movies were supposed to be released in 2020 or early 2021, but due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting schedules of movies had to take a backseat.
With the lockdown regulations easing down, shooting resumed and many movies
have been lined up for a release soon.
1.
Vaazhl aka Vaal directed
by Arun Prabu Purushothaman will be releasing on 16th July 2021. Pradeep
Anthony and TJ Bhanu are in the lead roles. The cast also includes Diva Dhawan
and Aahrav. Vaal is a Tamil drama movie produced by Sivakarthikeyan with music being
scored by Pradeep Kumar and lyrics by Kutti Revathi.

Sarpatta Parambarai
directed by Pa. Ranjith will be releasing on 22nd July 2021. The story of the
movie revolves around the area of North Chennai where there is a clash between
two clans Sarpatta Parambarai and Idiyappa Parambarai. The cast includes Arya
as Kabilan, who portrays a pivotal role in the movie, Pasupathi as Rangan
Vaathiyar, Dushara Vijayan as Mariamma, Santosh Pratap as Raman, John Vijay as
Kevin, Sanchana Natarajan as Lakshmi, John Kokken as Vembuli, and Anupama Kumar
as Bakkiyam. Sarpatta is a Tamil sports drama movie produced by Shanmugam
Dakshanraj with music being scored by Santhosh Narayanan.

MGR Magan, directed by
Ponram, is a Tamil comedy movie, which will be releasing on 23rd July 2021.
Sansikumar and Samuthirakani are in the lead roles; the cast also includes
Mirnalini Ravi, Singam Puli, Sathyaraj and Saranya. This has been one of the
most awaited movies.

Netrikann aka Netrikan,
directed by Milind Rau, is a thriller, which will be releasing on 28 July 2021.
Nayantara and Indhuja are in the lead roles. The cast also includes Ajmal
Ameer, Manikandan, and Saran. Netrikan is produced by Vignesh Shivan with music
being scored by Girishh G.

Navarasa, directed by
Sarjun KM, is an Anthology movie, which will be releasing on 6 August 2021. The
movie has a huge cast of incredible actors, including Arvind Swamy, Suriya
Sivakumar, Vijay Sethupathi, Siddharth Narayan, Prakash Raj, and many more.
Navarasa is produced by Rathindran R. Prasad. The movie is based on a person's
emotions such as compassion, courage, anger, disgust, love, fear, peace,
laughter, and wonder.
6.
Pushpa, directed by
Sukumar, is a bilingual (Tamil and Telugu) Romance-Action movie, which will be
releasing on 13 August 2021. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are in the lead
roles. The cast also includes Vijay Sethupathi, Deepak Shetty, and Jagapati
Babu. Pushpa is produced by Naveen and C V Mohan. The Hype for this movie is
already at its peak due to its amazing cast and crew.

This movie is the sequel
