Sometimes it's hard to know what bourbon to pick when there are so many different options to choose from. One thing is for certain, no one likes being disappointed after ordering a drink or, even worse, buying a whole bottle. Well, fear not, for I have a solution for all you bourbon drinkers out there. When you're not feeling adventurous and want something you know is tasty, there are four bourbons you can always count on;
Weller (any of them, really!), Eagle Rare, Stagg Jr. (or George T. Stagg if you have 'beaucoup bucks'), and Woodford Reserve.
These are all classic bourbon whiskeys with great flavor and something different to offer. You want a drink on the smoother side and incredibly easy to sip neat? Go with Eagle Rare. It's a night out with your friends and you want something you can drink straight or maybe mix with some 7up? Woodford is the perfect choice! Then, of course, you want something a little fancier, a little more well rounded with a robust flavor, have some Stagg Jr. Then there's Weller. You can drink Weller in any possible way; you will never be disappointed. (Though I do like to have mine neat or with a single rock.)
These four bourbons range in price from low to medium-high, so no matter what your budget is you'll still have a great choice of beverage. Best of all, a majority of restaurants/bars serve at least one of these bourbons. If they don't, why are you there in the first place?!
