iPhone 11 Is on Its Way!

Another one is coming soon! Make way for the brand new iPhone 11 that plans to hit stores in September.

3 iPhones will be hitting the store: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. According to Business Insider, "All the new iPhones are said to have new cameras — but only the two Pro models are rumored to feature a third rear camera lens, for a super-wide-angle camera." The biggest difference between this iPhone 11 in comparison to the previous others that most people will probably make note of is the cameras. Many people on social media platforms have noticed this 3-lens camera system and have thought of it as too bulky or ridiculous looking, while others are looking forward to the assumed increase in quality.

The iPhone 11 should only have a single camera, while the Pros will have three.  Forbes magazine has said that "Apple will double entry-level storage on the iPhone 11 Pro range to 128GB, a far more appealing amount than the current upsell-motivated 64GB. The full range will be 128GB, 256GB and 512GB." If you simply want a new phone with more storage without the new three camera look, the regular 11 should be good for you. In regards to the differences between the two Pros, it is most likely that it will only be the screen size. The design of the new iPhones will have a matte finish to all of them, as well as a brand new rainbow shimmer on the back.

However, ever since the iPhone 4, the idea of having the latest model has always been seen as "keeping up to date with technology" and almost a reflection of your worth. It may sound ridiculous, but the amount of pride some may have in their new iPhone stems from the culture we surround ourselves with. It has gotten to the point where even if someone has the latest model of another brand, it doesn't mean anything because it's simply not an iPhone.

Apple has designed its products to produce exclusivity. If someone has something different, our brains have been trained to find it uncomfortable. For example, when a non-iPhone user texts an iPhone user and the chat turns green, many find it difficult to continue texting. This is due to the fact that iPhone users become used to the color blue in chats, and the ease that Apple has given its users to communicate with one another. Group chats can be named, Facetime can be used, and emojis are portrayed the right way. When we think of Apple, we associate it with new technology, whereas if we think of any other phone brand we see it as something lesser than. But there's really no proof that Apple products are the superior product. It's an incredibly opinionated topic between some people.

So after reading about the new iPhone, are you going to be one of the people heading to the Apple store?
