Colour profiles guarantee a predictable and consistent print result on several kinds of paper. All you have to do is install the most recent ICC profile variants and embed them in your art. In 2015, a number of colour profile standards were revised and published by the International Color Consortium (ICC). Each device has its own individual colour space that it can display. This is the reason why images appear different on a monitor, poster or in a booklet. If it comes to printing, paper sorts can be somewhat challenging due to their distinct design and texture. The same print ink and art can look entirely different based on the paper stock. Colour profiles goal to create consistent and predictable color results on various apparatus by accounting for the characteristics of paper forms and printing techniques. To achieve this, the International Color Consortium (ICC) develops colour profiles for different media. The ICC profiles may be downloaded for free (more about this later). 

They are compatible with Windows, Mac OS and any other conventional operating system. But, ICC profiles are generally not installed on your computer by default so that you have to do so manually. Also, you have to re create the ICC profiles into your layout program. We'll explain how to do this later in this report. ICC profiles have been always developed further. The color profiles relevant for printing shops (PSO coated & uncoated) have been available in an updated version because 2015. The most recent variant 3 of this normal promises even better color reproduction, especially on natural papers. But the 1 print standard also defines new requirements for measurement technology, regular illumination and proof papers. To print on coated papers such as art paper, Onlineprinters requires the PSO coated v3 profile. For uncoated paper shares like offset and natural papers, we employ the PSO uncoated v3 profile.
