You may have noticed that your Facebook and Instagram feeds may have been acting odd this lovely Wednesday morning. No, it's not your Internet connection, according to DownDetector, users started reporting issues with Facebook and Instagram around 8am on July 3rd. Personally, I experienced blank images, comments not loading, even my personal profile not loading past my profile picture! Luckily, these issues were only with the mobile apps and once I switched to my laptop, everything loaded just fine.
As of 10am PST, DownDetector has had exponentially fewer reports of Facebook and Instagram having issues (from 7656 to 340 and 14753 to 4374, respectively). So go post that picture of your dog in a bow tie, the world needs to see it.
