Sith Lord Jar Jar Binks

For those of you unfamiliar with Jar Jar Binks, only one of two things could be possible. One, you have never watched Star Wars in your life, or two, you must really despise the prequel trilogy.

I must admit, looking back at the prequel trilogy, the most appealing aspect of it was the more "modern" cinematography and action scenes (relative to the original trilogy at least). However, today we are not giving reasons why the prequel trilogy is actually worth watching. This is more of piece for those familiar with the characters introduced throughout the prequels. More specifically, Jar Jar Binks will be the focus of attention.

Since Jar Jar Binks is almost, unanimously, one of the most despised characters in the Star Wars universe, it be would interesting if this theory of him being a Sith Lord would be true right? To explain how he could be a wielder of the force, we will dive into the first episode: The Phantom Menace. In one of the early scenes in the movie Jar Jar can be seen diving into water, but not before jumping 20-30 feet in the air. Force users can easily do this, but no other human or species in the universe has proven to do so. This is only a snapshot of his physical ability. In the Battle of Naboo, Jar Jar can be seen "accidentally" taking down numerous amounts of enemies single handedly. Whether its bumping into the war crafts or clumsily knocking enemy from enemy, he remained unscathed from the battle. This battle was not on a small scale either. It was literally droid army vs clone army.

The final "evidence" behind Jar Jar's dark side is the fact that he was promoted to General after the Battle of Naboo. Even though most people see him as clumsy and brainless he managed to land a position of power. The one who appointed him general was Padme, but she could have appointed anyone, yet she chose him. This goes to show his ability of force persuasion. This is similar to how the jedi can wave their hand in front non-jedis and convince them to do whatever he/she tells them to do.

If your interest is at least piqued by this theory then you can browse around the internet for this. There have been, literally, countless numbers of articles and videos surrounding this theory.
