let it rain, let it rain, let it rain

We have been in a drought here in Hawaii. No rain for 2 months. I guess all farmers of the world go through this. We have no connection to public water. It needs to rain. So 4 weeks ago, praying for rain and seeing our water supply dwindle, we wake up to no water. Seems a few wild pigs were also thirsty, broke a water pipe, and drained the tank. For the past few weeks we have been transporting water from a local well in the back of our pick up, 160 gals a trip. We are 4 weeks away from the end of the dry season; Mother Nature has decided enough is enough. For 2 days we have had afternoon rains replenishing a few more cups of water. Our crops are dancing with Joy, we can ease up on the trips to the well, the land and this incredible planet pulls through, we live on. On the other hand, Mother Nature has produced a conga line of big surf this month, cowabunga.
