Sights in Seattle

This past weekend, I finally got to visit Seattle in Washington and I fell in love with the city. My Seattle experience consisted of stuffing my face with food and being a huge tourist. Seattle is the most beautiful city I have ever been to (in the U.S.) and reminds me of San Francisco and Los Angeles combined but way cleaner full of friendly people.

The weekend consisted of great weather. Although, I did get to experience a little of Seattle rain on the last day as it rained lightly for like an hour or two. It was not enjoyable because I had no jacket and was wearing sandals. This was my first time traveling out of state without a parent or guardian and I learned a lot with the mistakes my boyfriend and I made with renting a car. The rental car was really useful, but so expensive.

Before going to Seattle, I did my research on places to go. I read articles and watched a lot of Youtube videos. I made a really detailed itinerary a month before our trip planning each day out accordingly. If you decide to go to Seattle, here is a mini list on where to go and to eat:

Pike Place Market

    - Pike Place Chowder

    - MeeSum Bakery (the beef curry hombow was amazing)

    - Market Grill

    - Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt

    - Beecher's Handmade Cheese

Seattle Fish Guys (fresh Hawaiian poke)

Elliot's Oyster House (fresh oysters!!!)

Seattle Aquarium

Museum of Pop Art

Chihuly Garden & Glass

Space Needle

Gum Wall

I got to experience the main attractions because I got the City Pass, which allows you access to five popular attractions for a cheaper price. I recommend getting this pass because it beats paying more and waiting in line for tickets. There were so many more places I didn't get the chance to try because I was there for only three days. I'm determined to visit Seattle again!
