Summer...

Why is there so much pressure to enjoy summer? I don't like summer! It's too hot, kids are on vacation, and everything is more expensive! As Americans, we get an average of 2 weeks of paid vacation per year, whereas in Europe, they get a full month of paid vacation. I'd much rather have Fall and Winter. The weather is more designed for cuddling and sweaters, and during the months of September through Thanksgiving, traveling is easy and relatively inexpensive (I got a flight from Los Angeles to Dominican Republic for $350 plus an empty row). I honestly recommend traveling in October, the season change is more noticeable, inexpensive flights, and (my favorite) Halloween attractions!
