It is sure that somewhere in your twenties you are to set for riskier decisions. And I am brave enough to say that I am also sure that the moment you start to take an unusual path that people will start to criticize you, stop you and worst is hate you. For many, the time to take risk is unnecessary. Why would a person take risk if he/she can live at peace without worrying about the result of higher risk? For most, they just want to survive, exist and enjoy. For them to take risk is equivalent to failure; for many risk means danger and losing; for many risk is for the unwise and immature. They may accuse you of being a fool and dumb. They may even challenge the giftings and abilities you have inside. But here you are, here we are, we refuse to settle for less. Let me tell you this: those who refuse to settle for less are set for winning. They see countless advantages along with every good risk! A winner thinks that failure and success are both opportunities for growth. Winners are products of risks they took in their lives. You may be in the middle of hard decision and riskier opportunities but I would like to tell you that if you are in your twenties it is one of the most ideal age to take higher risks..
1. You still have the "time"-You still have many years ahead of you to recover if you fail or better yet you still have many years ahead of you to get ahead of your past self.
2. You still have the strength to "create"-If you are doing something that caught people's attention you will not leave in peace with all men. But that's okay. Those who are strong enough create a new path has not been walked by anyone and they were known after seeing the end result and other people start walking on the path they have created.
3. You are still "available"-There are many big opportunities around us but not everyone is available to pursue them. Actually, those who are available are the only ones who can see the big opportunities available for everyone. As years go by we become even more indulge in life. We enter into more serious commitments, we receive bigger responsibilities, and we narrow down our priorities. People in their twenties are one of the most available people on earth for bigger opportunities.
4. You still have the ability to create and find "resources"-Looking back, I can say that now I have more access to unlimited resources. Open your eyes around you and you will see resources that are free and cheap but have great potentials. Moreover, since you are not yet into bigger responsibilities (such as own/growing families and expenses) you have available resources on your hand that is waiting to be channeled to better opportunities.
Take risk while you still can. Take risk while you can still afford it.
Take a step forward when everybody else has stopped walking.
