Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican Artist that creates music that falls under the category Spanish trap. On Sunday April 14, 2019 Bad Bunny performed at Coachella's main stage. Bad Bunny’s listeners are mostly Latin American. But he’s gained more recognition here in the U.S after patterning up with Drake and creating M.I.A. Benito Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, is 25 years old. He gained fame from his collaboration with Ozuna and Nicky Jam, “Te bote’’. It’s important to state that Bad Bunny was not the only Latin artist that performed at Coachella; there were many more! During his set, Bad Bunny brought out J Balvin. J Balvin is another Latin artist that is huge and has gained a lot of recognition here in the U.S. J Balvin and singer Rosalia were among dozens of Latin performers.
Bad Bunny is known for wearing crazy outfits. He did not disappoint last weekend. “Wearing a rainbow Louis Vuitton outfit and visor-like sunglasses, ‘el conejo malo’ channeled emotion from the get-go, opening with guitar-strumming breakup track ‘Ni Bien, Ni Mal.’ A few tracks later, he reminded fans that everything would be alright with ‘Estamos Bien’ (or ‘We're Good’), the bright, melodic anthem he dedicated to victims of last year's Hurricane Maria in his native Puerto Rico” (Crisiano). “’For me it is very big to be here,’ Bad Bunny said in Spanish before treading offstage. ‘I feel very happy, very grateful to all of you. I’m very proud of what I represent, of the Latino community that has come for speaking the language they speak in my country’” (Crisiano).
Bad Bunny will be performing next Mondy April 22 at the Staples Center. In the near future he will be performing in the following cities: Indio, San Jose, Las Vegas, New York, Reading, Valencia (Spain), Amsterdam, Rome, Montreal, Atlanta, and Milwaukee.
