In today's world, it is practically impossible to avoid technological advances. Technology is not limited to obvious things such as computers or smartphones. In fact, technology includes anything that has artificial intelligence or has the ability to apply scientific knowledge for practical purposes. With so much technology in our world, connecting things together only seems practical. Below are some of the ways technology can be used to create an easier future.
Technology devices are can be easily connected through Bluetooth and almost all devices now have the compatibility to connect to multiple devices. For example, AirPods have the ability to connect to Amazon's Alexa, which in turn can connect to other things. I have not tried this yet, but I am curious about trying to use my Airpods to tell my Alexa Echo to turn on my bedroom TV. That way I can be upstairs or in the kitchen of my house and control things going on in my room. I just had an idea too, I want to find out if I can connect my AirPods directly to my tv and have the ability to walk to the kitchen and still listen to what is playing.
Other technology connections include Alexa connecting to thermostats. For example in my house, when its too cold or too hot, I can easily tell my Alexa to turn on the heat or the AC all without getting up or stopping what I am doing. Other technology connections that have been proven useful are smart refrigerators. These fridges are able to learn about what people buy and can alert them when they are low or out of certain items. Similarly, some fridges have the ability to allow individuals to create grocery lists that connect to an app on their phone. That way when the individual is at the store, they have direct access to their list so they do not forget anything.
There are other ways to use technological advancements in our modern world. The possibilities are endless and as it continues to develop, so does the way individuals will use the technology. How will you use the technology that infiltrates your daily world?
