FIFA 19 Futties event was unveiled earlier this week and for those of you who are new to EA Sports FIFA series for the first time, here's a quick recap. Futties is a yearly event in the FIFA game calendar and it's a bit of an odd one.

There will be FIFA 19 Futties voting that takes place for the first five weeks of this new promotion. Basically, when gamers log on to FIFA Ultimate Team on the game, they’ll have a Player Pick in their account. There are three nominees in there. Gamers select one of the nominees as a one-game loan, and that becomes their vote.Ultimately, the most popular nominee goes on to become a Futties winner. That winning player is re-released in FIFA 19 as a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) reward. To vote, gamers will need to go into the FIFA 19 game, though, as there is no online voting system in place. Along with FUTTIES voting and the resulting upgraded items, FUTTIES will see select SBCs return to FUT via a 'Best Of' collection.The most popular SBCs over the past year will be re-released throughout the duration of the FUTTIES to allow players to potentially complete their collections.Along with a second chance at SBCs, EA will also be giving out reward packs at the start of FUTTIES.

The event also sees popular items from the past year re-added to packs, enabling users to deploy cards they missed out on first time around at massively reduced prices. There are 198 available in total, and helpfully EA has released a spreadsheet listing them all.
