Don't Slack, Use Slack

If don't like long email threads, text messages, and cluttered-ness, you're in for a treat!

Slack is an app where communication and messaging will bring more productivity and efficiency to your team. This app allows collaborations to carry out successfully from the tools and features. Utilizing "channels," anything and everything can be divided by projects, clients, partners, and vendors. For example, if you are in charge of a project, you can start a channel and invite those involved in this project. That way, anyone else in the company who is not involved in this project, will not get messages relating to this project because it is irrelevant to them. This will save a lot of time! You can even organize your messages even further, by responding to certain messages through "threads." If the project you're involved, is only the logistics side of the project, but others are involved in the creative aspect, those people can reply back to messages by creating threads. This way, you won't get any notifications or have lengthy messages about other aspects of the project you're not responsible for.

Slack provides tools and features that can improve the way you communicate with your team. You can now do video chats and calls directly from the app. This avoids the extra step of downloading and using another app to video chat or call. Further, you can share files or attachments such as PDFs, videos, and images.

Most importantly, Slack keeps your data secured through the security software installed in the app. Slack is supported by two-factor authentication as well as an encryption of data in transit and at rest. Other software includes SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. It's free to use, check it out!
