The organization OR Business and the individual should work together and be coordinated rather than working all together differently because if the workplace is supportive and the individual feels motivated every time he/she thinks about work, then he/she can deliver the best work in the least amount of time possible.
Taking a real life example as in my experience, recently I got hired by an organization (which I would not like to name). The organization’s HR made some miscommittment and instead of working in as a business development executive I landed up in a calling profile wherein I had to provide service to the clients. Now the productivity they were expecting could not be delivered as the job became monotonous to me once I got on the floor for the work as I had not chosen the job I had to work for. Even though the work conditions were excellent, taking the environment or the infrastructure of the organization into consideration which were more than good to work in, but as I did not have any passion for the job profile I could not deliver the productivity they were trying to seek.
In a similar way when I used to arrange events in my college or there was some art competition I worked exceptionally well as I loved the work and would go an extra mile to get the work done regardless of the work conditions. Somewhat work conditions stop concerning you if you really love doing the work you do, just never lose the motivation of working and be passionate about the work you do and try to deliver it with excellence and efficiency.
Some people can do multiple tasks at a time and manage them well, but some can do one task in the same time but deliver the work with perfection and in such a way that nobody can question the person on his productivity. It is better to know your capacity of the workload one can take because it can help with the quality and quantity of work delivered as one knows whether he can deliver multiple task at the same time or can deliver a single task at a time. It is mostly better to do one task at a time and do it with perfection which is basically the parameter for Productivity as the work then has quality and quantity. But again as the world is moving faster one should know to adapt to the conditions and environment around him and know how to get an optimum utilization of resources one has.
