Water and lemon

It is also reckoned as the skin tonic. It should be your first remedy for pimples. Tone your skin every night with this home-made tonic prepare from lemon and distilled water. Squeeze two lemons and add two teaspoon of distilled water. Simple apply this tonic all over your face with the help of a cotton pad and leave it overnight. Rinse it in the morning and follow this routine for few months to bid the pimple adieu.

Turmeric and basil

Take 20-25 fresh basil leaves and add two teaspoons turmeric powder. Grind them well to make a fine paste. Now consume half teaspoon of this paste by diluting in half-cup water everyday, preferably before meals. Basil protects you from free radical damage, while the antibacterial properties of turmeric help to achieve clear skin.

Cinnamon and coriander

As a matter of fact, cinnamon and coriander have antimicrobial and antifungal properties that decrease oxidative stress as well as help digestion. Squeeze the juice of coriander leaves and mix 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Ayurvedic doctor in Delhi suggests to store this recipe and take 1 teaspoon twice everyday after the meals.

Neem leaves and rose water

Papaya and sandalwood

You would need half papaya and one tablespoon sandalwood powder. Mash the papaya and mix sandalwood powder to it. Apply the mask to the face and keep it for 15-30 minutes. Then rinse it off and pat dry with a clean towel.
