Employee Pay Gap Revealed

How does your pay compare to that of an industry peer? Under a new disclosure rule, US publicly traded companies must report pay for their median employee and CEO — and the ratio between the two, The Wall Street Journal said. Figures show that while Kraft reported a median annual salary of $46,000, Kellogg paid $40,000. U.S. Bancorp paid $58,269, while Cincinnati Financial pays $91,647. Whirlpool's CEO earned 356 times as much as its median worker; Intuitive Surgical's 32 times.
