This is the natural wonder of Hawaii Island. Every winter, if you can call Hawaii having a winter, just 25 miles over our back fence, you climb through tropical rain forest, grass land, lava fields, and then snow, several feet of the white stuff all the while in front of our farm, 85 degree ocean water. Now that happens every year in California, but we are only 19 degrees above the Equator. You can say we are in the tropical ocean zone with the South Pacific islands our very close neighbors. It is one of those mysteries of nature that you just go WOW, and play. aloha
