This photo of Barak Obama and Donald Trump shaking
hands today in their first meeting since the election says it all.
Their hands may be shaking in acknowledgment of one
another, but their mutually-clenched jaws tell the truth about their true feeling
for one another and this moment.
There has been no lack of bad blood and snide remarks made by both sides during the campaign--on either side. President Obama has done well since the election to inspire calm and acceptance and an open-mindedness to the incoming President-Elect.
As for Trump, he also seems to have a more sedate demeanor since the election results were tallied early Wednesday morning (EST). But it is only human to harbor ill feelings for things that were said or done in the days, weeks and months leading up to this week's momentous vote.
It will be intteresting to see how events and policies play out in the first 100 days of the new administration.
