Just to clear things up......the island of Hawaiii, the Big Island, is not being covered in LAVA. This volcano started erupting in 1983. It has covered a few places now & then. Today it is flowing and covering about 12 sq/miles. The Big island is over 11,000 sq/miles. You can fit all the other Hawaiian islands on the Big island with room to spare. The news around the world wants to make it sound really bad, they like bad news. Sorry to the people that lost homes, we all recover, we all move on.....aloha
