In the past, internet scams and
identity theft were foreign concepts to most. They were seen as tragedies that
affected the lives of others, but never our own. Now, dealing with deception
has become something that we have all had to get used to.
Written in a conversational style,
The Battle Between Honesty and Deception: A Grand Debate
considers the opposites of honesty versus deception. Having worked for many
years as a licensed clinical psychologist, author Herman Kagan takes a
scientific stance on a number of different topics including evolution,
leadership, and mental health. Using the concepts of honesty and deception to
lead the conversation, the players work to prove which is more prevalent in
society today.
Has honesty ceased to exist in our
world today? Has it ever truly existed?
The final battle will reveal the
truth.
