How To Keep Your Kids Out Of Jail

A study done at the State University of New York found that 30.2 % of 23-year-olds surveyed reported that they had been arrested at least once for non-traffic offenses. A similar 1965 study showed the number closer to 20%.

More arrests now than in the 1960s? Unbelievable!!

This article was published in the respected peer-reviewed journal, Pediatrics, at the end of 2011.

Here are suggestions about how to keep your kids from getting arrested:

1. Keep them in activities throughout the school year and summer.

2. Teach them to read and get help if they are struggling.

3. Give them your time after school.

4. Fight your school districts to stop letting teens out of school in the early afternoon.

5. Be involved in your school, even if they don't seem to want you around.

6. Know where they are and check to see if it's true.

7. Invade their rooms and drawers and hiding places. They do not have the right to privacy.

8. Know their friends' parents and keep in touch with them.

9. Track their whereabouts on cell phones.

10. Read what they put up on the internet and use software to monitor their use.

11. Don't let them have their own TVs and game consoles in their rooms.

12. Insist on seeing their Facebook and other social media postings.

13. Monitor their attendance and grades weekly.

14. If they are doing well in school and in the community start giving them all kinds of privileges each week when they are doing well.

15. Don't give them their own car, computer, cell phone, etc. LOAN them things that belong to you.

16. NO B's, No Keys. Driving is a privilege that you can grant if they keep their grades up.

17. Have a regular curfew that makes sense and enforce it with logical consequences.

18. Smile at them when they say you're too strict. Let them know they can get almost anything they want through good behavior and hard work.

19. Love them with all your heart and show and tell them how wonderful they are. Catch them doing things right and tell them about it.

20. Play with them, even if it's an online or video game.

21. Listen to them respectfully and at length.

22. Stay married and work as a team on parenting.

In a democracy, all the people are treated similarly. For justice this is similar. But if someone has a crime without the realization then this is important to bring him to the realizing session. For that reason, the authority of Louisiana has built the Caddo Correctional Center for their prisoner. It was built in 2005 and there were 100 acres of area with all basic features and facilities. But still, this is similar to jail where all the prisoners are blocked in the cell without the time for counseling and other activities. Even in the industry of justice, there is some specific attorney who is working on these things. If you have anyone inside then you must need to talk about it with those attorneys. And of course, you need to talk and take his time before you go to meet. They will suggest you for the better in this type of situation.
